General Information

When is PRN Physical Therapy open?

The facility is open Monday and Wednesday from 8 am until 7 pm. We are also open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am until 8 pm.

How do I schedule appointments?

Receptionists schedule your appointments. We ask that you check in and out with the receptionist at each visit. We recommend that you have appointments for at least one week at a time to assure the time that is convenient for you.

How long will my first visit be?

You can expect to be at the facility from 45 to 60 minutes. The first few minutes will be to fill out general information and discuss your insurance coverage. Following this, the therapist will evaluate your condition. Please dress appropriately. If we are evaluating your knee, please bring shorts . If we are evaluating your shoulder, please wear a top that makes it easy to view and feel your shoulder. Tank tops or t-shirts are appropriate.

How long will my regular appointments be?

Depending on the type of treatment, your appointment will normally last from 45 to 60 minutes. Some treatments may be more, others may be less, and this is merely an average. Please continue to dress appropriately for each visit. You can discuss with your clinician what is appropriate for your condition.

Do I have to be on time for my appointments?

Yes. We schedule two or three patients per hour per therapist. Our therapists are personally scheduled to see you at your designated appointment time. Therefore, if you are late, your therapist may not have an appropriate amount of time to spend with you. This could affect how quickly you recover.

What will be involved in my therapy?

You will undergo a comprehensive evaluation so that an appropriate treatment plan is established. A treatment program is established and individual treatment sessions scheduled 2 to 3 times per week, depending on your physicians’ prescription and insurance coverage. Our goal is to enable you to reach the highest level of function as quickly and safely as possible.

Will my insurance cover the costs of my treatment?

Our reception staff will have information about your insurance coverage at the beginning of your care. If you have any questions about your specific insurance coverage, please do not hesitate to ask the receptionist.
